Head Rush

Head Rush

written by: Deni Neighbour

What a head rush
Pumping heart gush
Meeting you.
Life turned upside down, head spinning round and round, don’t know if I’m coming or
going.

What a brain crush
Thoughts soppy mush
Loving you.
Never felt so animated or alive, my senses vivaciously revived, life’s
flowing.

What a head rush
Fucking head fuck
Watching you.
Fighting a disease, stay alive and not cease, willing you to survive in my
head.

Where do I start
This shattered heart
Losing you.
Love couldn’t win this war, death glided in the door, taking you from your
bed.

No flowing, no rush, just hush.
