Hush

Hush

written by: John Drudge

“It’s meaningless”
She said
As she slipped
Beneath the covers
“There’s no point
To any of it
And I won’t come out
Until something

She was bold
In utterance
But quickly folded
Into the creases
Of her comforts
And wept silently
Through her fading
As he held her
Softly
In her quiet
