In Circles

In Circles

written by: Nicole Sara

in the eye of the storm it is peace and quiet
in the morning dreams wallow in night
in the chasm of pain there is a deep silence
in the sea roar, whispers in flight

in the light of sweet summer darkness is hidden
in the frost of winter, cold burns
in ridiculous gestures the sublime is afire
in the sky, your soul returns

in me, time always echoes in words
in you, space is chiming aloud
in the mountains the fir-trees blow in the wind
in deep waters of sky, a storm cloud

in the leaves autumn dwells within green
in the flowers your memories thrive
in the sun rays the sky kisses the earth
in the moon love is alive

in our thoughts we often wonder in circles
in our heart light is shining like Mars
in our song, meaning and color are dancing
dressing the stems in blue stars
