Insidious

Insidious

written by: Cass Wilson

Insidiously
You weave your web of lies
Gossamer strands of falsification
Strive to imprison me once more
A myriad of ignoble eyes
Project rose coloured echoes of the past
Evoking flashbacks of tenebrosity and pain

On enlightened wings I rise
Free from the odius taint of your deceit
Familiar to your fallacious words
Impervious to the callous beast
that resides behind the mask
