Intertwined

Intertwined

written by: Kenneth Vincent Walker

As the sky drifts into
The lake, and blurs
The lines between
Earth’s loving space,

For the calm has
Indeed come to
Subdue the calamity,
And we are one with

This tonic and recipe.

As the lake drips into
The sky, and we test
The reality of gravity
With our sleepy eyes.

For the palms of our
Hands show the years,
And our plans are but
Reality, fiction, and lies

All intertwined.
