It’s Here, It’s Gone

It’s Here, It’s Gone

written by: Sara Ali

In shadows, pain does dwell, a bitter guest,
Its presence keen, a tempest in my chest.
But know dear heart, this torment won’t endure,
For time’s embrace shall make it go and reassure.
Like fleeting storms that pass over troubled seas,
Pain too shall fade and grant us few moments of ease.
In all the darkest hours, a glimmer of hope we find,
A promise to hold that all shall heal with time.
So hold on tight, for though the night is dark and long,
A pretty dawn shall break, and the sadness will be gone.
Relish and Remember that through life’s ebb and flow,
All that pain may visit, but will surely soon fly away and go.
