Life Slips Away…

Life Slips Away…

written by: Dr. Molly Joseph

Behind the
polished
panelling
silently,
slowly
white ants
eat away
the wood…

life slips
away….

what can
linger
after
you are
gone?

a thought
a thing
or
an idea
of a thing?

Who cares?

live
while
you live.

make a
wee bit
difference..

isn’t there
a middle
world
between
all fears
and hates?

how we
allow
fear
to feed
hate..

can’t
we foster
a level
ground
where
humans
turn
humane,
haves,
have nots
hold hands
hug each..

yes,
the teeming
contours
though
disparate
hold promise…

the black
clouds
holding
promise..
