Lunar Reminiscence

Lunar Reminiscence

written by: Juliya Susan Jose

If the moon held memories,
They’d whisper of dreams
The ones still unspoken,
Left adrift before the dawn.
A promise that never found its echo
In the depths of space.

A desire sleeps beneath the moon,
A heart paused between hope and hush.
The moon veiled behind the mist
and the fleet of clouds
Like a memory concealed,
Too painful to recall.

Beneath the hush of moonlit skies,
A secret stirs where silence lies.
Behind the clouds, the moon looks on
A witness to what’s come and gone.
Though the heart still ponders,
The soul must learn to move on.
