Mama

Mama

written by: Sharona Reeves

I thought to myself what if today is my last day? Have I done all I can do? Then I thought of you and knew there is something I would have to say and that is I love you Mama and I think of you everyday. You’ve taught me to live and to love. You’ve told me life may not always be grand but smile anyway. You’ve encouraged me to give even if I don’t have. You’ve made me realize I have strength beyond all measure. You’ve pointed out money isn’t life’s greatest treasure. You’ve given me life and told me to pave my own path while trying to give direction. You’ve never hesitated when you knew my choices needed correction. When I was lost you had faith I’d find my way. I’m grateful for you and I want to say I love you Mama and I think of you everyday.
