Shadows in The Fog

Shadows in The Fog

written by: Sharona Reeves

Do you remember?
Is there ever a time you regret,
you chose to forget?

Never meant to be,
yet held with such solidity,
now swept under the rug,
hidden in the cove
of memories that tug.

Shadows in the fog,
the shadows of love,
like shadows in the grove.
Moments fleeting, they dissolve
in the tapestry we wove.

Shadows of dreams untold
echo in the silence you hold.
Fragments of a past unclaimed,
in twilight’s gentle embrace, unnamed.

Moments lost in time’s swift glide,
secrets we carry, deep inside.
