Monsters

Monsters

written by: Fauxcroft

Watch out for the monsters they are disguised
They wear suits, the charm, they often smile,
While hiding behind a tissue of lies
They are like snakes they can hypnotise,
They speak so eloquently and seem so wise
But they’d snap your neck while they look into your eyes,
You won’t expect it, but they have no compassion
They missed out when empathy was given out in rations,
These monsters love power and crave control
These monsters like to rule but they have no soul,
Look into their eyes and you’ll see an abyss
Of hate, toxicity, and loathing where love can never exist.
