NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A forest background in solarized colours, appearing in hues of deep red, bright green, and traces of light and dark blue. The forest is flooded, and on the water’s surface, three identical figures float in place wearing corsetted gowns of black. The sound holes on their corsettes echo the violins they play. The figures appear in black and white, in stark contrast to the colours of the background. They also appear to be low resolution, reminiscent of an old photograph. The words of the haiku seem to be bursting from center foreground in multiple directions, spelled out in white Balzano Std Regular font.
