Summer Vortex, a haiku by Robyn MacKinnon at Spillwords.com

Summer Vortex

written by: Robyn MacKinnon

into summer now

A vortex we can’t escape

I sink into you

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A luminous shape recognizable as a representation of a black hole, tilted to the bottom left and surrounded by shadow. Fiery texture is visible in the background, and the words of the haiku arch around the shape of the anomaly, disappearing into the glowing event horizon. The shadowy areas are shot through with a diagonal texture like fiery rain.
