Crusty Chaos

Crusty Chaos

written by: Renuka

Some mornings miss the beats
Evenings at times, repeat
And moments bleed.

Feelings waver a bit
Dousing the fire, once lit

Dropping the head after the day,
Shutting eyelids with things at bay

Nerves beating louder than the drums,
Calmness – lost beneath the constant hum

Around the corner something oscillates,
Faster,
Faster than the ray in swaying trees fluctuates

Some days fade along with dusk,
Leaving behind knotted nerves

Uncanny words try to faze the unfazed,
with full vigour like the fire ablaze

Still unfazed,
The mind and the soul reason,
Like the sun and moon share the horizon.
