The Root

Taxi in the West

if you haven’t already

I’ve got to the root

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A textured, sepia toned image with dramatic vignette lighting emphasising the center of the image.  A taxi seems to be parked next to what looks like a gnarled, ancient-looking tree or roots system growing from the desert ground.  Rocky hills are visible in the background, and the haiku sits in the top right corner in white “Embassy BT Regular” font.
