NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A parched, cracked landscape in burnt, smouldering hues.  The ghost of a pizza fills the background, a woman in armour with fist raised occupying the close foreground, only visible from head to shoulders.  The words of the haiku waver across her raised fist in black “Flood Std Regular” font with a golden glow, resembling pizza dough being spun on the hands of a chef.
