Netarts Bay

Netarts Bay

written by: K. Ann

I smell the bay, the sand, the air
I feel the morning mist
I taste the tea, warm in my mug
My skin turning sunkissed

I watch the ebb and flow of it
I see the rising tide
The sea stars barely holding on
Then swept back for a ride

I see their stars, same as my own
That sparkle in the night
I close my eyes and feel the mist
Before I say goodnight
