No More I Weep

No More I Weep

written by: Ratan Ghosh

No more I weep!
No more I can weep!
but I break within
I’m melting so quietly like a lonely candle stick
I feel my spareribs
Quietly, slowly but gradually decaying in pain
My tired neurons I feel
no more can respond
My helpless veins I feel
No more can palpitate life in me
My humble eyes, I feel
no more open to see
the vast field, the great lawns and the fertile river beds
They are too tired of seeing the growing heaps of bones
My fainted lips, I feel
no more sing the songs of life
They are just scared of
I feel…
How my whole being is now quietly drowning in a sea of death
The heaps of death, I see
Spreading across this earthly paradise…
Death! Death! Death!
I see!
Spreading across this earthly paradise…
