What once was
Dreams danced in light
Feelings run unhindered
Life flowed like waterfalls
My spirit cascades through run off
Smiles, fertilizer of happiness
Small green sprouts looking for Sun
Tomorrow’s dream a hidden plague
We call opportunity luck instead
Perchance is someone else getting it
I see hope a deflated pool
Water knows not limits
Festering problems strangle
We get caught in misery
Why someone else
Dreams we held so close
What was once, nevermore
Mark, a traveler with a working problem. I spend my time writing poetry, flash fiction, and taking pictures of the world. I have time because I'm waiting for the Ckeveland Browns to win a Super Bowl.
