One End Unburnt

One End Unburnt

written by: Ishita Dutta

Holding the burnt end
Of a matchstick in my hand
I saw my own world burning
with Grievance
Some said, the end is near
And the pain is ultimate
They didn’t know you
But surely saw you in my eyes
My world collides
Oh dear! Don’t give me silence
But anything.
