Precious Times

Precious Times

Christmas moments over the years were and still are Precious Times
Love connecting with family and friends during the holidays near and far
Our link runs deep just like the Ocean tides
Everyone always seemed to be in good spirits
I can still see the smiling faces of loved ones and friends that have passed on
They are gone but not forgotten
I can still smell the aroma of the food cooking, the scent of fresh pine from real Christmas trees and the beautiful Christmas lights
I reminisce when hearing Holiday songs of the way things were
Bought gifts weren’t that important, getting together or staying in touch was the most important thing
Christmas was and still is magical to me
There is no price tag on cherish memories
These memories make me feel happy and give me inspiration to pass down traditions so the next generation can experience the joy of Christmas
They were Precious Times
But
Now I enjoy making new Christmas memories
Appreciate my loved ones and friends who are still here
Although, things are not perfect, I enjoy the special moments in life and wouldn’t change a thing
I have learned we must show up for life and live it to the fullest
I am thankful for these Precious Times!
