Rainbows colouring my dreams,
Perhaps I’m done shedding tears,
So I can finally rest peacefully
Without fearing nights so dreadfully.
Maybe it will be a short time –
So much of life is short lived –
But feeling such an ease on my mind
Makes me want to welcome back what I once believed.
To make the best of it,
To be wild and free and let it all be,
No more ghosts to fathom or beat…
Oh life, let it once be me!
For now, I’ll bask in the sun,
And, of all the colours, I will become –
My dreamland has the peace I had willed to come
To meet me, the long-lost Queen of Eternity…
