I can finish a shelf full of books in matter of hours but
After weeks of hurling crumpled up failures across the room,
I still don’t know how to start my story.
I can wear anyone else’s shoes like glass slippers
But I walk in mine like they are filled with Legos.
I can provide advice like it’s an oxygen mask
To those gasping for air. I just can’t remember to
Put mine on first.
