Remembering the days captaining one’s own ship
Steering through tumultuous deep waters
Wild winds and treacherous seas
A crew of family and friends providing support
On the journey
Always willing to lend a hand
Nobody saw the iceberg coming
Crashing against the tranquility of the mind
Bows breached the struggle began
Trying to keep the vessel afloat
Desperate to prevent falling overboard
A search for a desert island
A place to find rest and recuperation
Before
Setting sail
Once
More
