Show Me The Way To The River

Show me the way
to the river,
where peace awaits.
Water flows to soothe my soul.
Warm rocks cajole me,
as I put a worm on a hook.
Supper is just a bite away.
Show me the way to
the fishing hole-
a path through the trees,
it’s a wonderful place
with a cool summer breeze.
