Survivors

written by: Mary Bone

I survived a fallout.
my hair came out by the handful.

My bones rattled like a
skeleton in the wind.
Somehow, we survived a disaster.
The lord watched over us
as the pandemic loomed.
He prevented us from becoming the doomed.
