Midwife of The Blues

Midwife of The Blues

written by: Dan Provost

Chaos was
a bluesman’s
shanty—

Disarray, with the
woman throwing
rocks at his voodoo
heathen ass.

The chords of
an acoustic guitar
echo from a bullwhip
evening.
