Spirits & Spooks!

Spirits & Spooks!

all hallow’s eve,
the day where monsters
can walk without
their masks because the
living are the ones
that don them;

skeletons dancing by
graves
and witches brewing
disaster—

vampires lurking
in the woods,
smashing open happily
ever afters;

werewolves
at the mercy of the
moon sometimes in
agony other times
causing it—

mist pouring in concealing
swamp creatures who want
to have some fun,

and humans walking around
none-the-wiser to the actions

of the creatures;

thinking it’s just dress up
or halloween costumes—

some find out
when it’s all too late,
that these spirits and spooks
are real!
