Split Me Dear River
written by: Aneek Chatterjee
Split me dear river, into two.
Flow through me, watering
both sides.
On the left bank, where the
green wood still exists
with all its charms,
I lived long long ego.
On the right, smart men and
women are holding dim lights, always.
With frightening, yet teary
eyes, they wish to melt in the
waters like stubborn ice creams.
We are all alone here,
wanting to explode like
never before.
Split us into two and care to
water both sides, so that they
unite fresh, without teary eyes.
