Starless Night

Starless Night

written by: Ana Dee

You were every bit of heaven,
if heaven were real.

Radiating light, strong enough
to make a broken woman heal.

Without you, I’m a starless night;
a hungry heart that doesn’t feel.

Now watching you vanish
makes me question:

Were you ever even real?
