Stay

Stay

written by: Christine Dominic

@rysscay

it’s too late
i’m in it, accepting
without any regrets, any suspicions,
i choose to stay.

it’s too vague
i’m drowning in it, struggling
with your arbitrary, your inconsistency,
and yet i choose to stay.

it’s too helpless
i’m sinking in you
with your coated words, your assurance,
but i choose to stay.

it’s too starving
i’m craving you
with your closeness, you’re a splinter in me
and yes, i choose to stay.

i stay to be clueless.
