Night Lamp

Night Lamp

written by: Tapeshwar Yadav

Stand straight
in front of the street night lamp
See for an elongation –
Who is crossing the road:
A shadow

Something pervades emptiness –
Somebody
orbed in invisibility
I shudder an instant.
What is this iron post –
A quixotic being
lost in place and time
