Survive The Beast

Stop it please, It’s all too much
Burdens heavy, Shackles strong
Searching the sky, Air suffocating
I cannot breathe, My chest in pain

Mind becomes faint, Body weakening
Screaming out, HELP HELP PLEASE!!!!!
Senses kick in, It’s all too late
Jugs of charcoal, Adrenaline flushed in
Keeping heart pumping, Reality kicks in

What have I done? How could I? Oh no
Eyes settling on loved ones
Almost, just almost left behind
To carry debilitating agony
Asking questions unanswered
Why? Oh why? Oh why?

Through Grace I was saved
Through unfulfilled purpose
Next time might not be so lucky
Please call out loud, loud enough
For anyone, everyone to hear
For you’re worth saving
Surviving the beast, you can
