Louise lives on a Gulf Island in the Salish Sea, wandering beaches with her Sheepadoodle, Beaumont. A former executive in the homeless-serving sector, she writes with raw honesty about the human condition – most recently detailing her journey caregiving for her husband with late-stage COPD. An artist and author, Louise is currently co-president of the Gabriola Arts Council and is editing her upcoming memoir, The Caregiver's Mutiny: Dismantling the Noble Lies of Caregiving.
