That Unsung Song

That something in his eyes
That pierced through her soul
That pleaded, and she accepted.
That something in his eyes
That goes beyond words
That want understanding, and she tries to.
And sometimes when they spoke
Exchanged words and worlds
They live in different worlds now
He has a living to make
He can not afford the luxury of her poetry.
So while he is busy making a living
That something in his eyes
Still haunts her frantically
The acceptance, the understanding
And most of all- that unsung song.
Passion is what defines me - I love to challenge myself and break barriers.
Writing, for me, is a medium to do this!
