T.C. The Cat: “Mum! Of course, I will climb this tree
At the top, there is so much to see!
Whilst you go on your Christmas Shopping spree.
Will you bring back a present for me?
Or do I have to wait for Father’s Christmas special delivery?
Have no fear I will not cause a catastrophe!
Remember what you have said
When we lay together on your bed:
‘Pets teach us how to share and care
So always look after their welfare,
There is nothing else to compare.’
I will be good until you come back;
I will see you walking down the track.”
