The Eighth Time

the eighth time

the past has a face
thousand and one name
written into nothingness
time
below
the level of
consciousness
be somewhere
but not here

the eighth time
dawn of
cold steel
in latex light
the sound of
cracking alveoli
in silver paper
endomorphic bliss
of eternity
in the freezer
on ice

the human world
degenerates into
shredded innards
in deliquesent matter
apnea —
to short the
breath
of life
flickering
electronic blood flow
tunnel of ultimate finitude
crossword puzzle
of life
death —
and dark
dwells
fear
spinning
its yarn —
and analogue
the time
condenses
his flow
incalculable
ending
in a static
discharge
explosion

followed
by
a linear line
in the
black hole
