Green buds on beach trees
Bluebells carpet forest floor
Newborn baby cries
Summer
Sleepy afternoon
Fly humming at window pane
Cornstalks bent with gold
Autumn
Ghostly morning mist
Blue smoke curling heavenwards
Incense of burnt leaves
Winter
Starry velvet sky
Silent snowflakes drifting down
Wolf howls at the moon
I enjoy writing flash fiction, short stories and some poetry and have been a member of a local writers' group for a few years. Have only recently begun submitting my work for publication online. I'm originally from UK but have called Australia home for more than 50 years.
