There I Wait

There I Wait

Daylight vanishes, darkness prevails
Old mornings dawn, lost and not profound
Tread the peak, exhale the weakness
The stand breaks the immortal sound
Farewell to thee
Farewell to lust
The Autumn rain is plummeting freely on me
All the descending tears equal no rival
Will the dead arrive and come forth
To justify my worth
Shield me from sin
Shield my sanity
Let the trumpets roar and release their souls
Traversing to the vast Magnetic North
Upon sheer crystal cliffs and diamond hardened beaches
I shall linger
On the land’s forgotten shore
There to shimmer alone in the void
With the existence of my every pore.
