after all this time,
I’m still only at
“What are you doing now?”

after veggie dinner,
you’re relaxing
headphones on,
loving your playlist,
political editorials,
health journals,
Twitter,
Instagram;

you’ve had a play day,
or worked hard
sunshine, rain,
yoga now,
one to one,
peace before tomorrow;

I couldn’t help wondering,

that’s what
I’m all about,
right now,
again
