Tortured

I try, I do,
but cannot flee
The broken tortured
anguished me
For all is bound,
together tight
Unbind I must,
to see the light
My heart and soul,
won’t let go
we suffer conjointly
to and fro
Denial now
the stage of grief
Acceptance,
yet a far belief
survivals now
imperative
Not wanting to~
instinctive
