Under The Evening Glow

Under The Evening Glow

written by: Pramod Rastogi

In the silence of the evening,
Where the last light folds into shadows,
Your eyes are stars,
Not distant, but close to me,
Whispering truths I could never forget.

Love, once a quiet ember,
Rekindles in the glow of your embrace,
Each touch weaving memories
Too vivid to fade, too tender to release.

Tears fall, not from sorrow,
But from the ache of paradise,
A place found not beyond,
But here, between two hearts.

You are my lover,
My anchor in the shifting tides,
And though the world turns endlessly,
This moment will never slip away.

For even in silence,
Our hearts speak,
Their language a bond
No night could ever erase.
