Upon a Six-Foot Tree

Upon a Six-Foot Tree

Upon a six-foot treetop,
the calico cat held court.

Her weight, a wee bit heavy,
made the tree too unsteady.

Furry paws craved kitty sport,
made balls fall like raindrops.

Her weight, a wee bit heavy,
made the tree too unsteady.

Both she and tree belly-flopped—-
the cat guilty by default.
