Voices Beyond Borders

I was born in the land, Arakan,
But they say it’s not mine.
I speak my own language,
Yet it’s considered a crime.

I wander from camp to camp,
As a refugee in every eye.
Where is my place, I wonder?
Who am I in this lie?

They stripped me of my name,
And left me with just a plea.
Roaming as a ghost with a voice,
Just longing to be free.

I am not the soil I walk on,
Nor the sky I see.
I am the sum of my struggles,
And the hope I keep within me.

Call me by the love I give,
Not the borders they draw.
For I am more than a refugee—
I am human, above all.
