Cool and collected is you
calming affect
in your touch,
in your voice.

I ignite with passion,
a fierce element
that uncontrolled
brings destruction

Flowing in course,
chilled,
yet sparked in flames.
I’m a part of you and you, me.

I breathe for the oxygen you breathe,
allowing the wind
to lead me into my path,
collateral beauty.

Earthly balance,
the calm before the storm.
Opposites bringing a bit of ourselves
into one another.
