We Are All We Ever Dreamed

We are flames in the darkness of each other’s worlds,
We burn brighter together than we ever did alone,
Together we could kindle an inferno.
We are the air that breezes upon a stormy sea,
We carry away all the trouble in this life,
Together we could kindle a tornado.
We are the raindrops that fall upon our dew filled flowers,
We shower upon our sad broken hearts,
Together we could kindle a storm.
We are that bright sunshine that wakes us on that sunny morning,
We illuminate all the darkness that befallen upon us,
Together we could kindle the heat inside.
We are that cold chill winter flakes dropping in winter,
We cool down all the hot thrills we had,
Together we could kindle an avalanche.
We are those dry yellow leaves carried by winds in autumn,
We let our hopes raise up hoping for another evergreen,
Together we could kindle a forest.
We are that sweet bird’s music that whispers out in the air,
We carry with us all the memories we experienced,
Together we could kindle an anthem.
