Yet Another Autumn

Yet Another Autumn

written by: Arouba Abbas

It’s October again,
Summer lingered long.
Leaves have started to fall,
What great agonies they behold?

Rain will open its arms,
Bringing peace to burning streets.
Will it be able to wash
The stains on my heart?

Summer has gone,
So have the scorching days.
Yet, why does
Autumn feels so sad?

Leaves are falling,
What are they trying to imply?
Beauty is mortal,
Everything must die.
