It’s All Relative

how is time defined
as said, no reason or rhyme
the clock hands constantly reaching
edging oh so close to the outside
and what is it that it teaches us
that we’re too focused on time
when we should be cherishing life
needing that most unneeded like
twisted selfish reason we call rhyme
and exactly what makes us ask why,
when indecisions linger right behind
behind those things given to see,
that we might see the light
the passions in us, is realized
in those glassy spheres called eyes
don’t you know it’s all relative in time.
