Banksters

written by: Bev Muendel-Atherstone

Central bank self-interest rates, steal our wealth,
And cause higher mortgages and higher rent.
Fighting inflation allows banks to dupe us all by stealth,
With higher housing costs, more money’s spent.

Higher interest rates bring higher mortgages and rent,
But strangely, interest rates on savings always lag.
Higher housing costs mean more money spent,
Increasing inflation not causing it to sag.

Interest rates on our savings always lag,
Because bank wealth is based on usury;
Bank rates raise inflation that was supposed to sag,
And claim our cash through this absurdity.

Because bank wealth is based on usury,
Fighting inflation banks dupe us all by stealth.
Banks claim our cash through this absurdity.
Central bank self-interest rates, always steal our wealth.
