The Halloween Lullaby

The Halloween Lullaby

written by: Waide Riddle

Ghouls!
and ghosts!
and goblins!
Walk the dark gallows!
Share in the fun and silly madness
Children do, and so do adults, too!
Celebrate! It’s a holiday! It’s a festive one at that!
It’s the Halloween Lullaby!
Halloween Lullaby!

Witches!
Warlocks!
Nosferatu!
And Quasimodo, too!
Don’t be shy!
Sing along to the 31st Lullaby!
Black cats!

Owls go “whoooooo”
Ghosts go “boooooo”
Specters!
Spirits!
Trick or treat. Lots of candy. Lots of fun.
Pumpkin patch. Pumpkin pie.
It’s all in fun. Couldn’t ya just die?
Time to dance. Time to party.

Hey, look! There’s a wolf-man! There’s a vampire!
C’mon, it’s time to build a cozy fire.
Let’s bob for apples. Light some candles.
Spooky shadows in the cemetery.
Séance madness. Ouija board fever.
It’s just for fun. So boogie some.
It’s the Halloween Lullaby!
Halloween Lullaby!
